Peaches has failed to turn up her new hubby's first UK gig.

As Max and his band Chester French kicked off their British tour with a performance at Sheffield Academy, there was not even a mere whiff of his new bride on the premises.

Nor did Max make any reference to Peaches, as he apparently struggled his way through a 40-minute gig in front of a half-full audience at the venue.

Now call us cynics, but this kinda behaviour really doesn't rest well with typical newlywed behaviour.

First, Peaches plugs Max's band as a follow on from the announcement that she's married in the States...

Then she returns to the UK without him, with absolutely zilch reference to taking a honeymoon, or even spending one iota of quality time with her newly-found hubby.

And then finally, when Max himself turns up in the UK, Peaches can't even find it within herself to attend his first UK gig.

It's safe to say Doctor Love is well and truly disappointed by the lack of sparks in this marital story, while Showbiz Sherlock has his investigative powers at the ready.

Is the marriage for keeps? The jury's out and hanging.
